Welcome to ASM's Toy Fair 2009 Coverage, our TENTH YEAR of providing pictures to you! Wow, can you believe we started this in 2000 with 130 Transformers pictures? Now look at us, one of the smallest websites out there but with one of the largest galleries of Toy Fair pictures since then. Thanks for being with us for our tenth annual coverage.

There are fewer companies at Toy Fair this year, but that won't stop us from providing you with Hasbro, LEGO, Toynami, Bandai, NECA, Diamond Select Toys, Mattel and more!

To the right, you'll see our E-mail address. Use it to contact us with any questions you have. Also, if we know we'll be seeing a certain company, we'll list it with an approximate time of when we expect to have coverage up. Plus, who knows what we'll find as we walk around the show?

And, of course, this main section is our running blog. As we update galleries, you'll see the day and time of each update listed below, so you'll always know how fresh our news is. You can also follow us on Twitter, and subscribe to its RSS feed.

Next is JAKKS Pacific, featuring UFC and their Interactive line! Some cool new stuff coming, such as night vision goggles!

Third we have a press-kit gallery from Mezco Toys! Take a look at these pictures to complement our other Mezco gallery!

Finally we have a press-kit gallery from Playmates ! Take a look at Star Trek, TMNT, Yu-Gi-Oh, Gormiti and Dino King!

02/18/2009 - 1:50am - Four galleries are up for you now. First, we have Jun Planning! We weren't allowed to photograph some of their items -- Goblins of Labyrinth mini-statues; figurines and plush from the new Pixar movie Up; Pullip dolls based on Disney movies like Peter Pan and Bambi; and live-action movies like Roman Holiday. But we did get a few pictures of their other stuff, such as items from The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Next is Re-Ment! These were described as "tiny, tiny things from Japan". And, well, that's what they are. Definitely intriguing!

Third we have Shocker Toys! The first wave of Indie Spotlight is finished and was on display! Check out figures of The Maxx, The Tick, ShadowHawk, Strangers in Paradise, Scud: The Disposeable Assasin and more!

Last for tonight is our Miscellaneous Gallery! These are just things we saw at Toy Fair that were interesting, cool, neat... or strange! Check out Yummy Doug's Edible Clay, I ♥ My Planet's Planet Pixies, a line of dolls made with organic cotton fabric, Art Plush, Inc. and more!

02/17/2009 - 1:30am - Next we have Kridana. This company specializes in action figures and plush toys based on classic Indian epics. Definitely one of the more specialized toy lines we've ever seen in ten years of coverage!

Next is Momoko Doll! For the girl in your house, Momoko Doll brings 1:6 scale fashion dolls to her!

Third, we have Monsterpocalypse! In 2009, they are bringing Series 2 of their collectible minatures game: I Chomp NY!

02/17/2009 - 1:09am - Some more new galleries for you right now. First is Comic Images with soft little super-deformed plush dolls, golf club covers and backpack buddies from Star Wars and Marvel!

Next is more from Diamond Select Toys! DST once again had two booths at Toy Fair, so we hit the booth in the Javits Center today. We saw more statues, maquettes, and props from DC Comics, Star Wars, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Back to the Future among others!

Third, we have Freaky Creatures! This company displayed action figures and their own online customizing and battling game!

Fourth, we have toys from Toy2R, featuring Bossy Bear, Turtle, Crocadoca, Diyqee and other assorted figures!

Finally, we have Underground Toys, distributer of Doctor Who and Torchwood toys! They also have items for Star Wars and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen!

02/16/2009 - 6:17pm - Okay, folks, we've got two new press kits from Hasbro right now. Check out Hasbro's Marvel line and Hasbro's Star Wars line!

New (to me at least) are figures for Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, more professional sports, and 3-inch Guitar Hero figures (in the style of Hasbro's Galactic Heroes, for lack of a better description). Check out the Main Gallery!

Finally we have Organic. Organic is bringing toys from video games as well as Japan to you, including Astro Boy, Sky Girls, and Devil May Cry 3. They also have their Dream Machine Project line, including Blue Thunder and the Suzuki Stratosphere. Check out these and more in the Main Gallery!

Your favorite (probably) DC Comics characters are available in statues, figures, busts, and other high-end collectibles. And we also have a gallery for Maisto, featuring remote-controlled cars! And some fire weapons! Man, I never had R/C cars that were that cool as a kid.... Check out the Main Gallery!

02/16/2009 - 12:35am - Three more updates for you now. First is Huckleberry's Toffee. These are collector dolls, of various designs. Looks to be targetting the slightly older girls market. Well, there is also an upcoming Barack Obama Toffee figure.... Check out the Main Gallery!

02/14/2009 - 11:02pm - Our next Hasbro gallery is online! We had a request for more Littlest Pet Shop pictures. We took a look at what we had and were able to crop out some more images. They aren't the greatest, but we hope you like them!

02/14/2009 - 12:38am - We expect some big things from Hasbro. It's the 25th Anniversary of Transformers, plus Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the big summer movie of 2009. Not to mention, G.I. Joe has their own movie, so Hasbro's sure to put out a lot of Joe stuff. How much of it will be on display for us to photograph? We'll find out Saturday!

We also expect Mattel to bring us a lot of Barbie toys, as it's the 50th anniversary of the most famous doll. So, hopefully we'll get some good pictures for you!
